Auto Tires
VIP is OK for basic repairs and tires. They performed the annual State Inspection, then recommended a few items.
They recommended a coolant flush, which I agreed to.
They also recommended a transmission flush. But since vehicle recommendation is at 60k miles, and it had just been flushed less than 2 years ago,I skipped that.
First visit back in a while, since sharing the space with O'Reilly's.
A tip - please avoid criticizing your customer's choice of vehicle
When speaking with one of the counter people to check on my car, they asked make/model, and I provided that.
There was a comment and tone that let me know clearly this person wasn't a fan of my brand. I accept that people have different favorites, but I don't believe a customer-service interaction is a place to let your customers know that you that "Toyota" is not your favorite brand. Hard to feel positive when your car choice is questioned...... .and "Toyota" .... c'mon guys.
