"We hired Wayne and Jesse to erect a post and beam kit home on our property. The project was comprehensive, beginning with excavating the lot and finishing with delivering a weather tight shell 5-6 months later, just ahead of winter. There were many challenges with non-standard construction details required to complete the build and to satisfy our own exacting requirements for achieving a well insulated and air tight home. Wayne, Jesse and the team were very accommodating and we always felt that their primary goal was to deliver the home built the way we wanted it built. They made and implemented many suggestions for improvements. When we discovered a few issues with the kit, they always had ideas to overcome any difficulties. We highly recommend Downeast Cabin Builders. Wayne, Jesse and the team made the whole process a great experience."
