At puppy pick up, we were informed for the first time that the puppy "had been exposed to kennel cough and there was a possibility she could develop it." In fact, after the incubation period, the puppy did develop kennel cough, a particularly potent strain. As a result, we incurred in excess of $400 in veterinary bills to care for her over the following several weeks. When we requested reimbursement for these kennel cough expenses, they would not accept any responsibility toward payment, even though the kennel cough exposure occurred on their watch. We feel this is unprofessional and unethical - we were sold a puppy incubating an illness incurred at their kennel. Once that illness manifested itself, as they said it might, it became their professional and ethical responsibility to cover these expenses. Since they are unwilling to accept responsibility and reimburse us, we certainly can't recommend them to anyone. Buyer beware.
