All went well. Kept us inform of potential start date, progress of work. Very professional.

We are extremely pleased on all aspects of how this job was done. After a few days delay due to a period of rainy weather, they actually came on a Sunday to start work. The crew they sent was hard working and dedicated. They started around 9:00AM and finished up a little after 6:00PM. other than a short lunch break they never stopped the entire day. Even after the unexpected discovery there were a large numbers of roof rafters that were rotted and needed repair, they made a call, had the necessary materials delivered to the site and never missed a beat. The clean-up was so well done it was as if they were never here. Frankly, they left the yard cleaner than it was before.. The final bill was only, even with the extra work, $800 more than the original estimate. Frankly, we were expecting it to be at least twice that if not more. I would highly recommend Superior to anyone that needs roofing done!

The quality of work was good. Job site was left very clean. They worked well with me, with regards to scheduling. I wish, however, they didn't hire crews from out of state - plenty of people in Maine in need of work. One complaint - we have a very hazardous deck system to the third floor apartment ( just bought the building) that needs to be replaced. I had them write in the contract that no staff would use the deck whatsoever - my tenants say they were all over it. Otherwise, I good company to hire.

The salesman Jimmy was helpful and professional. The roofers did an excellent job and were careful not to damage anything (vinyl siding, windows, bird feeders, foundation plants etc). The cleanup was impressive!

This entire company have been beyond words amazing. From the first meeting with Jimmy and his honest, no pressure approach, to working with Sandy and Danielle on billing and scheduling, down to the team of competent and friendly roofers, my husband and I were amazed. The quote was for about $12,500. I liked their responsiveness and their detail. My interactions with them was positive. The estimate was reasonably detailed, there was more of a line item quote.

The shingles on our garage roof were 25 years old and needed to be replaced. Of the two roofers I checked with, Superior had the better price and was willing to do repair work on the house which the other firm was not. The workers arrived on schedule, stripped the old roof and installed six square of new shingles the same day. They were pleasant and left the site neat and clean. There was a little confusion about the repair work. We're in a high wind location and some of the tabs on the roof of the house had begun to blow off. Superior was willing to reseal any that appeared to be loose at the same time the garage was being re-roofed but the crew didn't get the word. A couple calls to the office resolved the problem and the repair work was completed a few days later. This didn't inconvenience us and was completely satisfactory. Sandy in the office was especially helpful and made working with Superior a pleasure. I would use them again.

Superior Roofing came to replace my leaking roof. It was a mess. After some shingles were removed, it was discovered that there was asbestos underneath the shingles. Because by law, he couldn't continue to work with asbestos, Ben stopped the work. He had his workers replace the shingles that they had removed, with new shingles --at his own expense! (Thank you, Ben!) I worked with Ben and Glen to come up with a solution to this problem. We decided to put some supports under the rafters, and add a new plywood roof covered with new shingles. All the trim and flashing and whatnot was done, too. It looks beautiful. Ben's employees were smiling and energetic. They got the whole thing done in a day. And cleaned up after themselves. Ben and Glen and Sandy were accessible and helpful to work with. I totally recommend Superior Roofing!

The work went smoothly and as scheduled. Roofing installation details are key to a roof's successful performance, and this contractor completed the details with care. I recommend this contractor for low-slope membrane roofing.

After reading positive reviews on Angie's List, I called Superior Roofing in late August asking if they would be interested in a roof replacement job at a property I own. We made an appointment for an estimator to meet me there the next week. Just minutes before the appointment though he called to say he was in a town 45 minutes away, asking to postpone. That was annoying, as I'd taken time off work to go meet him, but we did set up another appointment two weeks later. That day, the estimator did arrive (though half an hour late, without calling). He looked at the job, and said he'd email me a quote the next day. After a couple weeks, though, I hadn't received anything. I thought maybe they'd lost my contact info. I called the office twice, during business hours, on different days, but each time got an "answering service". I left a message with my contact info asking to hear back about the quote. Two weeks after that, I still hadn't heard anything, and sent an email asking about it. Two days later someone replied, saying the person who looked at my roof was out of the office, but they'd email me the estimate the next day. That was over two weeks ago, and I still haven't received it. It's now late October, and I've given up on them. Long and short, total waste of my time, and not even able to get a quote from these folks, let alone any work. They are either incredibly disorganized, or they're very busy and just don't want/need my business. If it's the latter that's fine, but they could've spared me all this annoyance and just told me that upfront, or after they looked at the job. I normally wouldn't bother to write a review of a company that hadn't even done work for me, but this has been really irritating...

Overall very pleased with the professionalism and quality of the services. Superior Roofing did all the expected work, in a highly professional manner. They were very considerate about scheduling and showed up on time. The work was completed in one day, and they cleaned up the premises very well. So far no complaints, roof is water tight. Only area for improvement is in timely response to telephone calls before the work was done. Sometimes they were hard to get hold of.

Called because I had a leak around my skylight. Lady took down my info. Never heard from them. Called again three days later and was told they were too busy to do repairs on work they had not installed. They should have told me this the first time! Remarkable contrast to several years ago when I called for a minor problem and Ben Roper came himself the next day and resolved it. Guess they've gotten too big too fast and lost something in the process.

It went smoothly from the start - even though Superior Roofing had to deal with multiple family members at different points in the process. Sandy in the office was helpful and responsive. We communicated by phone and email. The work was done within a couple weeks of signing the agreement and was completed within a day or two. We are very happy with it.

They worked consistently to get the job done.

It was about 4 months ago. the roof looks good. Time will tell how good the quality was. I will keep you posted.

I couldn't recommend this company more. The salesman, Glenn, was fair and honest and explained clearly how the roof would be installed and what materials would be used. The crew worked very hard, especially on the first day, when the temperatures were in the 80s. They clearly knew what they were doing and how to do it. They avoided the flower gardens around the foundation; not a plant was ruined. They picked up all the debris and were careful to get all the nails, especially in the dog yard. The company called the day after the roof was installed to make sure we were completely happy with the job. I recommend Superior Roofing to everyone I know whether they need a roof now or not.

Crew was there early and finished job in about 5 hours. Very minor amount of debris once the job was finished. Very professional and friendly staff.

Superior was much lower in price for a better shingle than Home Depot and Lowes. The rating for the shingles from Superior was 50 years to where the others was 25 years. Superior charged about 1/2 of what the others wanted to charge and did a quality job. It took almost 2 days to complete the job.

There was a bit of confusion between to two contractors. They were trying to work around each others projects on my home. It was not their fault. They could have followed up a little better with me. Once they started that project it was finished in a efficient and timely manner. The quality of the work was excellent.

All work was performed as promised.

They told me they'd do it in one day...and they did! They started around 7:30 and were done and completely cleaned up by 4:30. When I asked them to come back to take down their signs and to re-check to be sure the gutters were cleaned out (they were), they were very accommodating. I'd highly recommend them and would definitely use them again!!

The crew accomplished the above job description in one day leaving yard and foundation plantings clean and undamaged. A great job. I would definitely recommend this company to neighbors and friends.
