So far, so good. Bruce is pleasant (often funny), detailed, committed to the project rain or shine, and does amazing work. He will even add touches that you didn't think of. He's not afraid to make suggestions to enhance your picture of how you see the project unfolding. He's so experienced that he took apart a project we did and redid it properly. Pictures to follow.

I engaged Bruce on the recommendation of my landscape gardener, even though he is from Maine and I had to put him and his dog up down here when the arrangements I had made for putting him up fell through. Since I wasn't able to be on site for most of the construction, in response to the availability of more dressed stone than we had thought, the wall became somewhat more formal than I had expected, but I am very happy with the quality and the appearance of the wall. After the scale, design, materials and price have been negotiated, Bruce works best when left alone. The wall came on budget, but took somewhat longer than expected.
