Veterinarians
Horrible communication on the large animal/equine side. Can?t speak to the general practice but, can attest that the fact that the equine side of things is run very poorly. When the vet, Rachel Fiske treated our horses, she did a great job. However, communicating with her is beyond frustrating. We have waited at least two months for a phone call back for an appointment. We?ve called once weekly and still have not heard one word from either the vet or the vet clinic staff back. The only answer we get when we question the staff regarding why we haven?t heard back is that she?s busy and she?ll call us back in a day or two (which never happens). In the past, we?ve waited several weeks for a prescription to be called in (after repeated phone calls (and emails) asking her to get with the pharmacy so, we could have bute on hand). There?s been an error in our bill which we had to get rectified (we were overcharged) and took several days of phone calls to correct. Skills, professionalism, as well as courtesy and timely compassionate service, make all the difference in the world with regards to quality of care. If the vet never communicates with you, ignore calls for prescriptions, and the support staff does the same then, cearly, based on those two reasons alone they don?t care about your animals? welfare or keeping you as a client. It?s really too bad because she seems knowledgable about treatments and all the technical aspects of the job once she does see you and the quality of treatment has been good. But, making appointments, getting her to call you back and following up is non-existent. At this point, we can?t even get a phone call back to get our horse?s records transferred to a new vet. Very very frustrating experience with her all around.
