Once again Hawkes provided exceptional service and quality. I’ve had the pleasure of this crew before—John was again the extremely professional and proficient foreman—and I could not possibly be happier with the end result. Hawkes is my GO-TO 100%!

Hawkes removed a large, decaying maple tree overhanging both the house and the street. They cleared everything away. There price was reasonable and they did the job efficiently and when they said they would. I would (and plan) to hire them again.

I contacted 4 different local tree service companies. 3 responded with quotes, one took my call, promised to quote, but never came out or quoted.

The issue was 2 large maple trees that were overhanging a garage. Due to the lay of the lot, it looked like it would be a job for a bucket truck. Hawkes Tree Service responded promptly, and gave a fair price to do the job.

They showed up when promised, with a crew of 3 men. They used the bucket truck, as well has had to climb one of the trees to finish the job.

Work was neat. Workers were professional and polite, and a very thorough clean up of the yard and driveway when finished, complete with using a blower to clear the driveway of sawdust.

Very good job; would use again anytime. Highly recommend.

Our original contract was signed December 2012 to end 3/31/13. We were told it should be about a 2 week job (depending on weather). The final check was issued to us August 2013.
January-Work commenced 1/3/13 and continue until 1/9/13 when his skidder broke. We prepared the loading area and paid for the gravel for that.
February- We got a few days to a week of work and 3 loads of wood was taken out 2/23. He wanted to renegotiate the contract
and lower the price which we did because there seemed to be a misunderstanding about some additional work. The new
contract gave Mr Hawkes until April 12, 2013.
March- our calls continued asking when it would be finished because warm weather was around the corner and he wouldn't be
able to bring out the logs. Mr Hawkes did arrive at midnight one night to load logs. There was no call to let us know he was
coming. Logs were hauled out 3/8 and 9.
April-Logs were hauled 4/14, 4/18.
May- After a number of calls Mr Hawkes finally got the last of the wood off our property 5/9 and 5/10.
We called off and on (June, July) to try to finalize this whole project.. In August we sent a registered, return receipt letter to him requesting the final tally and got a final check. I will say his workers were excellent and I have no complaints about the work. My complaints are with Mr. Hawkes professionalism, punctuality, and refusal to return calls.
