I called and Allen had me in and out in about an hour - same day. They had a part ready if needed, but it wasn't necessary. An adhesive applied needs at least 24 hours to cure so Allen put tape over the power window button so I wouldn't absent- mindedly use it - very pragmatic, thoughtful, and practical - just what I've come to expect of Allen and Loraine over the 10 or so years I've used them for 4 different vehicles. Again, so like Allen: my first experience with Townsend's was at their previous location - I was an hour away from home with an appointment to get to and my engine overheated. An acquaintance in the area recommended him and he got me right in, found a fan wiring shortcut my (now former) mechanic had made, put it right and got me on my way at no charge. I've relied on him ever since. And this is FULLY a husband and wife team business- they've been at it TOGETHER for a long time. Loraine really knows her stuff and has helped me many times over the phone while it was not necessary to interrupt Allen. They work with me for convenient scheduling and are always right on the money with how long it will take - or could take. And if it is something they don't do, they'll recommend someone reliable. They will also be cost effective on parts. It's nice to feel like your mechanic is REALLY looking out for your best interest. I trust them 100%. They're about an hour from my house, which isn't ideal, but I make it work because it's worth it.

Allen Townsend is the owner of this company. I had an excellent experience with him. I give him As across the board and will keep using him in the future.
