Gray's Plowing

While I felt that T.J. was a nice enough young man when he provided his snow plowing estimate, I was very disappointed with the overall service that he provided. He plowed our driveway a total of three times. The first time, I had to ask him to return to re-plow the drive, as it hadn't been completely cleared during his first pass. He said he'd had some difficulty turning his large truck in our driveway, but he did manage to do a better plowing job during the followup visit. The second time he plowed was fine. The third time he plowed was during Winter Storm Nemo on 2/8/13. He arrived after we had accumulated roughly two feet of snow, plowed halfway up our driveway, turned around, and drove away, leaving a 4-foot-high line of snow blocking our drive. He called half an hour later to apologize, but said that his truck was too large for him to turn in our drive, and that he would be unable to finish the job. He also said that he would not be plowing for us anymore. T.J. then said that he would try to contact friends of his who had smaller trucks to see if they could assist us. When we asked for their phone numbers so we could call them directly, he said he didn't have them, but that he would "try to find them". We did not receive any further calls from T.J. or any of his friends. Thankfully, one of our neighbors noticed that I was trying to chip through the 4-foot drifts by hand and was kind enough to plow out our driveway with his small truck. If he hadn't helped, it would have taken me two days to work through the snow that T.J. left behind. I will say that T.J. did not submit a bill for the final partial plow job - but I still would not recommend his service to my neighbors.
