Lawn Tool Repair
The estimate to pick up the riding mower and clean up the area where the oil had spilled on the engine and sharpen blades was $200. The mower was picked up in a few days and returned about 1 week later .... with the bill hanging off it for $381.00. There had been no communication before the work was done that it might/would be more than $200.00 and there was no legible explanation on the bill. The owner is always grumpy/gruff. Maybe he is shy but, if he speaks, he always treats me like I am bothering him. And he kind of gives a curt lecture on future care ... if he talks at all.
