Galen Eustis

Galen works by himself currently. I needed someone to work with me to complete trim work on windows and doors in a remodelled camp. It required lots of unique cuts adapting to the often crooked conditions of walls and floors. While Galen did not get it right every time (neither did I but I'm not a professional!) on the first attempt...the majority of times he did get it right and when he made a mistake he made it right, working on it until I was satisfied. I would not say that Galen is a "fast" worker, but his rate is reasonable and the results look very good. In addition to that, he is a very pleasant guy with a lot of life experience. We worked closely together for almost two weeks and I enjoyed getting to know him. I would hire him again for smaller jobs.

Contracted Galen and his son Josh to build a platform deck. It was very easy to work with Galen. I found the composite decking that I wanted to use, and he got the framing material. They were accommodating by building the deck in one weekend, even during a rainy day! (They wanted to complete the job before upcoming commitments). I am pleased with their work, and would consider them for any future projects.

Galen should be your first choice if u need any kind of wood work. he is very professional, always on time, very easy going and will get the job done like no one else. He likes to explain what he will do it and the reason so u don't get lost if u not vey familiar with carpentry. and the best part he enjoys doing the final touches thats why the appearance came out great.

I hired Galen in 2007 To finish a 24 x 28' space over the garage into a finished unit. Galen's portion of the project was about $25,000. This space came out beautifully and I have since used it as a rental unit as well as living in it myself. Galen's efforts both in planning and executing the project made it a very lovely apartment, cost conscious, without skimping, with great finish touches, recommending materials and design that influenced the final outcome of the project. He has since come back to do other custom touches to continue to improve the space including custom stairs to a loft and a kitchen project. I have found Galen to be a very reliable workman/craftsmen and also a good advisor to ensure that the project is done correctly. I have written a review about him before and I'm happy to do so again, I recommend him without reservation for both small and large projects, simple to complex work. He came back the day after Xmas to get the apartment ready for new tenants.

Built steps off our deck, replaced shingles. Great work; great value. I would recommend and hope to use him again in the future.

Galen is the best! He is extremely knowledgeable, creative and has array of skills.Galen certainly knows his business! . You can trust that if you hire Galen the job will be done right and not only will it be high quality but Galen always pay attention to the little details so that everything looks perfectly finished. He is always careful with money and is a big supporter of reduce, resuse and recycle. We have used Galen's services at several locations and he is outstanding. Galen is a wonderful carpenter, workman, craftsman.
He is excellent at taking your ideas and making them into reality and being quality and cost conscious. Galen is not the cheapest worker around, but you will be guaranteed of an excellent final product, which in itself is a great peace of mind.
Galen takes the time to listen and talk out the situation with you (while not charging for that talking time!) and make sure what you are doing is what you REALLY need to be doing. He won't let you make mistakes, and cares about the product he puts out.
