About us
Joel Duncan of Edge Energy was one of the first in Maine to install heat pumps as a primary source of heat in new and renovated residential homes. He sold, installed and serviced equipment before working with a distribution company to help represent the manufacturer's equipment that they provided. Joel would support his contractor's design build, consult on how to sell the job as well as install and service the equipment. Edge Energy's passion is efficiency. Available new technology, such as being able to heat with refrigeration, gives Edge Energy an avenue to help our customers by selling and servicing efficient products in their home or business.

They answered questions in a way that gave me great confidence in their skills. They showed up despite their trucks getting in a minor accident on the way over. We had edge energy install heat pumps for us on our house. I worked with Joel and Nick. Both were very communicative and let us know of any issues along the way. We did encounter an issue with our electrical panel but they got a great electrician to hook everything up and the heat pumps are working well so far. We will definitely use them to maintain the heat pumps and would recommend them.
