Weatherization Experts offers a free, one-hour consultation. We will send one of our experienced, certified weatherization experts to walk through your home to determine the next best steps to take. During this walk-through inspection we will identify ways to improve your homes energy efficiency and comfort. Before we leave, we will provide on-the-spot energy savings at no cost to you. Together we will decide the next phase necessary to start on the path to the most energy efficient, comfortable healthy and environmentally sound home for you and your family. Efficiency Maine offers up to a $1,500.00 direct rebate for weatherization work. The only requirement is a home audit performed by a BPI certified energy auditor at a cost of $200.00. Weatherization was absolutely the most unreliable, and EXTREMELY MESSY. Their approach to blowing insulation was awful, the area below the attic, my bedroom, was a dirty, dusty disaster that took my wife and me all afternoon to clean up, and we still have more to do. They scheduled the job for one week, put it off several times until it went into the second week. During the 2nd week, the schedule was changed at least 3 times.

I was very happy with the service supplied by Bill and all his crew. He was always available to answer questions or address concerns and he came up with additional ways to help such as weather-stripping my doors. He put through my paperwork to qualify for an energy improvement rebate. His crew was also great and were very polite and respectful of my property. They worked very hard all day and cleaned up very well afterwards. I would recommend them without reservations.
