 + -1 moreChuck is the reason that we (humanity) need to support local businesses. It's about the customer service, follow through and quick response time/communication. Chuck was at our house the day that he said he'd be there and on time. He was so quiet that we barely knew he was even outside! He installed a new central air unit and replaced all pipes and conduit with the ease of someone who has been doing this for awhile! I was nervous because of the cost (home renovation, remember.........the money pit) but it was one of the few things that went right with this renovation. The service was fantastic and now that it is 100 degrees, we can honestly tell you that we are cool as cucumbers while our neighbors are baking inside their homes. Yes, even in Maine we need AC. I would recommend this company to everyone! This man is a true professional. He had to come out to our house for something one night because of a glitch in the system. It was a Saturday night and without hesitation, (he took his wife with him), he was here to fix our problem. So not only is a professional, he is a family man. We are so glad that we picked this company and it reenforces the need for us to support our small businesses. Thanks for keeping us cool, Chuck!
Description of Work: This company was referred to us by our contractor BUT we did seek other estimates and decided to try them out. The owner, Chuck, has been in business in this area (Portland, ME) for over 31 years. We bought an older 1961 home that had an older central AC unit that was installed in 1989. Chuck could have got it running again, but the problem was the "unknown" and what could potentially go wrong long term with such an older unit. So we sought out advise from an HVAC expert (good friend) from Florida and he suggested to dig deep and buy a new unit. Vincents AC (Chuck) took out the ancient and ozone depleting unit that we had at the house and installed a brand new Carrier unit that is energy efficient.
