"Susan and her partner Maggie did a super job cleaning my new home after our closing yesterday. They were cheerful,. friendly, and very hard-working - they washed and scrubbed for 10 hours straight without taking breaks, and left the house fresh and sparkling clean. I would highly recommend them!"

"Excellent, professional team came to wash all my windows in my large log home. Very good communication with the company. I gave them 4.0 stars for value only because it was quite costly compared to window cleaning I've had done in NJ on a similar size job, but I understand how it works - only game in town, etc. Happy with their work though!"

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Unless it’s written into the purchase agreement, there’s no legal obligation that a house you’ve bought has to be clean before you move in. The previous owner is generally required to sweep the house, but that doesn’t guarantee everything will be spotless upon your arrival. If possible, discuss the cleaning requirements with the real estate company before moving in.

Yes, in most cases, you can add a few drops of Dawn to a spray bottle full of vinegar to remove hard water stains. This solution can be used on your dishes, or you can use it in your shower, bathtub, or sink to get rid of hard minerals. Simply combine the ingredients, shake them up, then spray the solution onto limescale-ridden surfaces. Wait around an hour and then scrub the surface down.

Prices vary depending on window size, building height, and accessibility, ranging from $5 to $15 per window or $150 to $500 per service.

You can use hot, soapy water, white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, window cleaner, nail polish remover, WD-40, and cooking oil to remove glass labels. You can also apply heat with a hair dryer or steam cleaner. Use a plastic scraper or credit card to remove the adhesive, as a razor blade can permanently scratch your glass.

Mold on windows forms due to excess moisture from condensation, poor ventilation, or leaks. Cold glass surfaces can attract condensation, especially in winter. High indoor humidity, lack of airflow, or dust accumulation are also contributors. To prevent mold growth, improve ventilation, regularly clean sills, and consider using a dehumidifier or sealing any leaks.
