Bob immediately called back to schedule an estimate. The rest, however, was downhill like a Double Black Diamond at Killington. The day of the estimate, I called to confirm that Bob was coming to the house. He confirmed he would arrive at 9am. By 9:30, there was still no sign of him, meanwhile I had taken time out of the office. I called to ask where he was and he flat out said he could now not make the appointment. He showed zero remorse and no concern about the inconvenience. He simply said perhaps I should get another contractor. I will be. Not only was he completely rude, I would very much question his ability to complete a project on time and on budget, given that communication with a customer, and respect for their time and satisfaction about the job are both paramount to a successful interaction.
