Ray's Excavation Landscaping

Excavation Major Grading or Resloping, Landscape Minor Grading or Resloping Service, Building Site Preparation and Clearing,

About us

Welcome to Rays Excavation & Landscaping. I have 20+ years experience in carpentry. Beginning at the age of 18 working for a company building homes. Since then I have build some homes on my own as a general contractor. I have done several small remodeling projects over the years as a sole proprietor. Also over the last 9 years I have worked as maintenance supervisor/operator at a local airport where I work a lot with heavy equipment. I have done small excavation jobs for 3 years as well, including road grading, digging water and electrical lines, home pad set up and land /lot clearing, and septic installation. I'm now looking to move on to establish my business in excavation and landscaping. I'm fully insured. I like to make sure my customers are happy and would not leave a problem behind without addressing it. I have several references of customers I have worked with for repeated jobs over the last several years. Thank you for your consideration.

Building Site Preparation and Clearing
Yes, I recommend this pro
Honest, hard working man that communicated well and did a great job. Did two jobs, actually: 1) used backhoe to dig a deep and long trench to accommodate newly drilled well pump system from well to house; and 2) hauled in 4 loads of high-end driveway gravel, and graded my driveway. Fair price, very satisfied.

Building Site Preparation and Clearing
I hired Roland to install a fresh water line from an existing well to a new building 150 feet away. I own the building but not the land. The land is owned by the city. I had to be very sensitive to their specifications with regard to outside contractors and excavation. Roland did a fabulous job. Not only was I happy with it but the city officials were as well. Following that, I hired Roland again to clear away several very large maple trees that had fallen after a big storm. Many of these trees were on or adjacent to our driveway so he had to be very careful with his excavator. When he was finished all of the trees were gone and there was no sign that he was even there with his heavy machinery. The third job I commissioned Roland to do was to clear a piece of heavily wooded property for a new barn I was building. Not only did he get this done on time but was actually under budget and charged me less than the original quote. I have already contracted Roland to dig a pond for me later this summer. I wholeheartedly can recommend Roland. He is easy to work with, gets the job done on time and budget but doesn’t cut any corners to do it.
