I had taken some bids on all of the work and he said he could complete everything. He completed some of the jobs, but has not been back. He wanted to be paid for each days work for materials. I got caught up in paying him that I didn't take a good look at the work that was completed. He also left a mess behind and two projects undone. I am not out any money, but do not have anyone to finish the work. He would come about once a week and complete a job, but has not been back. The last visit he said that I wouldn't see him for a while, which I thought was maybe a few weeks. I have tried calling and writing him and have not heard anything back.
