Licensed and fully insured Arborist. I am a owner and operator of Affordable Tree Service in Limington, Maine. I have 28 years of experience, and am well educated in my field. I am available for free estimates or just to answer questions you may have regarding trees that you may have. Pine tree's are the worst to live under. "Affordable Tree Service did cut down a very brittle pine tree for [Member Name Removed], unfortunately the top fell in the wrong direction and hit her roof. We in turn hired a contractor to repair the hole, which unfortunately did not do a good job. We are being accused of being "hackers" or trying to "screw" [Member Name Removed] by not providing insurance information, which has clearly been provided to her. Affordable Tree Service has done work for her in the past, and did a wonderful job (or she would not have hired him again), before a job is done an email is sent to the customer in which insurance information is provided and the information was given to her last May prior to doing the first job. We have apologized to [Member Name Removed] and tried to fix the roof, but once we realized she was not happy, a call to the insurance company was made. Unfortunately she has blasted our company and has reported false information, stating we either don't want our rates to go up or we don't have insurance, which neither is true. A licensed arborist in Maine is required to carry insurance, she has the information and has filed a claim...her whole roof is in disrepair...so makes you wonder what her agenda is. I realize everyone has the right to post on social media however be truthful."
