Good work and professional service, but the price is very high for the amount of materials and the installation time. There needs to be some competition in this installation service.

He came to our house.  Explained everything to us that he was going to do.  He explained the materials and how the job would go.  I  was very pleased and happy with his work.  No mess left afterwards.  I would highly recommend him to anyone needing this type of work.  Very pleased with the price.  Very polite and professional.

They were very honest and offered me a couple of different ways to get rid of the radon. He was punctual and willing to work around my schedule.

Highly recommend having these folks
do your air radon mitigation work.  Very professional work:  pipes were
hung level, they wipe off the labels on the pipe with actetone so they
are clean, and all the penetrations into the house and slab are done in a
professional manner.  Excellent communication with the company and
everything is well documented in their contract.

Short-term and long-term radon tests in the basement yielded readings of 5.6 and 5.1. Steve Daigle did an initial inspection and developed a sub-slab depressurization system to reduce the high radon level in the soil beneath the basement. The price for the system was fair - around the lower end of the averages. Steve did the work himself, except for the wiring of the fan motor to the house electrical system. The job took about 5 hours and went very smoothly. Three holes had to be made - one in the basement floor, one through the sill wall into the garage and one through the roof of the garage. All of the work was very clean and all debris was taken away. Steve was always checking to see if there were any questions before, during and after the installation and provided timely replies to any questions or issues. He also did the paperwork for the electrical permit. I was very pleased with Steve's work and the best part is that the post-mitigation radon test was a level of .5 - that's point five.

After performing a radon air test in the unfinished side of our basement and getting a result of 6.6 pCi/L, we performed a second test. This time we tested on the finished side of our basement and used another lab and a different testing method. The results from the second test were 8.3 pCi/L and 8.4 pCi/L. Therefore, we decided to have a radon air mitigation system installed.
I contacted and met with four radon air mitigation contractors and did a lot of online research before deciding to go with Steve Daigle and Radon Done Right, LLC (whose website was extremely helpful). From the initial consultation until the follow-up with the results from the post-installation radon air test, Steve's no-nonsense, professional, and respectful approach as well as the frequency of his communication made the unplanned expenditure much more pleasant.
During our initial meeting, Steve thoroughly evaluated our home, identified concerns, and offered recommendations to ensure that the mitigation system would be the most effective. Following the consultation, he promptly emailed me an estimate and contract that explained exactly what he proposed to do as well as when and how he would do it. I did not have to sign the contract until the installation date, so I had plenty of time to review it and ask any questions beforehand. Regarding the cost, as compared to the other estimates, it was slightly higher than one of them, but significantly lower than the other two.
The evening before the installation, Steve emailed me to remind me that he would be coming at the time stated in the estimate/contract document. He arrived on time and worked until the job was complete, pleasantly and calmly explaining what he was doing whenever I inquired. Once he had completed the installation, again he reviewed with me everything that had been done and provided a post-installation radon air test kit and comprehensive document containing frequently asked questions. I performed the post-installation test and the results were .4 pCi/L. Steve promptly forwarded a copy of the lab's report to me noting the favorable results.
If spending money on an unanticipated home maintenance expense can ever be considered a pleasure, working with Steve and Radon Done Right, LLC would definitely qualify. As a long-time homeowner who has outsourced my share of home repairs, it was refreshing to work with a true professional. Steve had a way of balancing the necessary business-side aspects of the job with the personal, trust-building relationship-side aspects of the job. We are truly grateful and would highly recommend Steve Daigle and Radon Done Right, LLC for any radon mitigation needs you may have.

Punctual, professional, quiet, tidy, respectful.

During the pre-purchase inspection of our new home, we conducted a radon test which came back with a level slightly over 5. Given that the recommended remediation level by the state is 4, we decided to implement a remediation system and solicited several estimates from both local providers and a few that were further away. In spite of being advised by both our inspector and realtor that we might reasonably expect to spend approximately $1K for a remediation system, estimates that came in ranged as high as $1800. One local provider's initial response to an email inquiry, in fact, was $1500. Steve came out for an estimate, arriving on time - which was appreciated, as many of the other contractors have not been. His assessment was professional and thorough, and he took the time to both ask detailed questions about the house's construction as well as detail the options we had for placing the system and its exhaust components. His estimate for the work was $1095, significantly lower than our other options. 
Based on his conduct and the price, we selected him to perform the work. Once again, he arrived on time, got right to work and in a few short hours the system was online. He explained the functioning of the system in detail, listed the gauges to check performance and gave an idea of the estimated lifespan for the components with moving parts. The work was performed for the amount estimated, no haggling over overruns needed. 
He also left a prepaid radon test kit with instructions for its use. After waiting the allotted period to allow the system to work, we conducted the test. The results subsequently came back as passed; our radon level has gone from over 5 to less than 0.4, well under the recommended remediation level by the state. 
In short, we were quite pleased with both his conduct and the system he installed. I would recommend him for radon remediation work without hesitation.

Steve at Radon Done Right was prompt, courteous, professional, and quick. It took him and his assistant only about 4 hours to install our system. It looks great and he answered all of my questions. Best of all, the results were fantastic. He reduced our radon level from 6.7 to a fantastic 0.8. I could not be happier or recommend Radon Done Right, LLC any more.

Cant say enough good things about Clyde and his coworker. After installing the system the level of radon was still high. They came back and added another pipe at no extra charge. It worked! Two years later the plastic clamp holding the PVC pipe to the side of house broke. He came back and replaced it at no charge with a metal clamp. Great guy, highly recommend.
