see above. 2 guys moved all the furniture; .The charge is hourly including travel time and per man. They worked very hard to finish as quickly as they could. Ultimately they were unable to get one very large piece thru the door and into the apartment -but they tried every thing and really didn't want to quit. They were very careful with all the furniture. I cant say enough good things about them. Will definitely use again if I need a mover in this area

Overall, I feel I could not have chosen a better company to provide excellent and professional services necessary in this move. I have an injured back and was unable to pack many boxes in preparation for the move, and the moving crew accommodated the packing needs very carefully and efficiently.

They are a regular moving company and I have used them probably 4-5 times over the last 30 years. They went out of their way to accommodate us because we had them run by one of the local stores and pick up a couch that we had bought. They picked it up and moved it in for us, and I don't know of many companies that would do that. They had three men doing the moving for us but they only had to move like three blocks. The thing that stood out about them was primarily their willingness to go out of their way to get the couch for us because they had a real rough time getting it into the house since it was bigger than the door. They managed to get the door off and it was real heavy with quarter-inch thick glass in the middle of it, and they got it off and got the couch in. We were comfortable with the price at the time and felt that it was a good price.

They did a pretty good job of moving us however there were some things that I just didn't like about them. For one, I had a heck of a time trying to get a copy of the finalized bill. I had made many calls and it took them about four to five months to finally get it to me. All of our items arrived safely except for one ceramic lamp which its value is around $800. They did finally send me a check for that however it took them a long time to do so. They also charged an outrageous surcharge for fuel. We are actually in the middle of a class action suit with them to try and recover some of that. Instead of them charging us per mile, they ended up charging us a ten percent surcharge flat rate. I did really like the guys that did the work as they were very professional and friendly. They also worked very hard.
