Castonguay&Son

Mr. Castonguay and his son were timely for both the estimate visit and for the installation.  They  also called to confirm visits to insure that that there was no misunderstanding of date and time.  Upon arrival and throughout the job they were very courteous, even greeting our dog with appropriate hugs and petting.  Both father and son were efficient with their time and were precise with each cut .  It was evident that they worked well together and knew their trade.  We were extremely pleased with the finished product and we will hire them again for other projects.

Leo and Lief removed the roof of the residence, removed most of the sheet rock, most of the insulation, and all of the framing members that they wanted from the roof.  Then winter set in. The building was left open to the elements and continued to decay.  In the spring I touched base with Lief and was told work would resume soon.  I expected the house to be gone by June.  In late May I came to the residence and found that nothing further had been done, except the removal of more framing members that were stored on the first floor.  I called Leo in May and left a message.  I arrived back up in Maine in late June and began calling Leo to see what the story was.  After leaving three messages and getting no reply, I began demolition of the structure.  I have never heard from Leo again.

It went extremely well.  The work took two days to complete.  It was don in a professional manner, on-time and as requested.  They even finished any work which was left undone on the floor installation.  Floor installation was not completely finished because the supplier failed to provide the all the items as ordered.  This slight delay was NOT the fault of Castonguay and Son but the supplier.

Would be happy to use them again.  They do Kitchen and Bath remodeling, drywall construction/installation, cabinet refinishing/installation and other building tasks.  Recommend them to all.

It went very well.  There was constant communication between Castonguay and Son and us.  Came to the house to give us an estimate,  Called back to provide additional information.  Called to say that they would be a little later than promised.  Had excellent work ethics,  Very informative and helpful.  Were always prompt, polite and extremely professional. 



The floor looks excellent.  Work was completed on time and as promised i.e. two days.  We have no complaints on compliments and high praise.  Recommend them to all.  If fact, we are going to schedule them to do some painting in the near future.
