+ -1 moreCompany is not to be trusted. Steve, the owner, misrepresents the product and lied about the warranty. If you are the call about a problem expect a poor attitude. In the state of Maine it is a four year warranty and his feeling is he does not have to abide to this law. Check around for other companies!!! I have only had the shutters for two years and already had two major failures rendering them inoperable.
Description of Work: About a year ago they installed rolling security storm shutters for the exterior of my house. On August 1st I contacted them because a gear was stripped on one of my shutters. Two workers came out that day to diagnose the problem. They found that a gear was stripped. They ordered the part that day and never mentioned anything about payment, even after I inquired about pricing, since the warranty from Canvasworks had expired. I contacted them the following Monday to find out the status of the part. After that I received a phone call from the owner, Stephen Eberle, who had previously been on vacation, who ranted about how he was doing me a favor by not charging me for the work to be done. The workers then came back out on the 13th and replaced the gear.
