Description of Work: In December 2010 we purchased a sulmmer cottage on Point Road in Hancock, Maine without a lot of forethought about just how we were going to care for a property from seven hundred miles away. Tacy Ridlon, of Better Homes and Garden Realty recommended Marilyn Lowell of A Piece of Maine Rentals. We are fortunate she did. In our agreement, Marilyn is responsible for opening and closing the cottage for the season, contracting and managing cleaners and lawn maintenance personnel, meeting with tenants to insure all is to their satisfaction, hiring subcontractors for repairs, inspecting the property weekly and communicatingly back to us. These duties have been performed flawlessly. Her relationship with AM Builders works perfectly. Marilyn finds the problem and AM Builders gets it fixed! We do not have to worry about our Maine cottage, we let Marilyn do it! If you have found that perfect Maine retreat in the Ellsworth, Blue Hill, Bar Harbor, or Hancock area and need a rental agent who will treat you, your clients, and cottage as her own, then contact Marilyn Lowell at A Piece of Maine Rentals.
