PI have had a home in Beaver Cove, Maine for 12 years. In 2007-2014 my primary residence was in California. In August 2014 I returned to my Beaver Cove home (just a few miles from Porter's) full time. I have used Porters for all my auto repair and servicing. This includes the time I was in California. I visited my home often and maintained a car here
The are totally great. I have confidence in the quality and speed of their work, honesty, and great pricing. Most locals know how wonderful they are. They compare positively with any auto service I've ever used.
On the last occasion I visited them I brought in the wrong studded snow tires. They are still at orters, and this week I will be driving the car that goes with the snow tires in for the change. Then I will bring in my 2nd set of snow tires for change on my other car,\ I may disappoint Porters sometimes ((wrong tires), but they have never disappointed me.

At first, they were unable to find the part. At 3 AM, they were able to find one, and they began working on it at 6 AM. They had it by 9 AM. They were very honest and did not try to take advantage of the situation.
