Greg performed the exact service we needed at a very reasonable price. He was quick, efficient, and clean. He taped all the cracks and wore boots, and there wasn’t a speck of ash when he left. (I wouldn’t have been mad if there was- it’s a chimney). He was nice but not chatty, which is a quality I like in someone coming into my home to do work. I highly recommend this company.

The owner is very professional and punctual. He showed up and examined my roof and told me that the flashing needed replacement. He stated that February is not the best time of the year to do this as shingles would need to be removed to replace the flashing. He offered to fix the area that was leaking with a patch and stated he would return in the Spring to do the actual repair. I appreciated his knowledge and honesty. It was a win win because when the chimney leaked it ran down my ceiling. Now the chimney is patched and no more ceiling leak. I look forward to having Lake Region Chimney back in the Spring. If your looking for honest and reliable I would hire this company.

.I have had Greg come to the house for about 3 or 4 years, he is always grumpy.  He is angry when I call in the fall for an appointment  and also when I call too soon (mid summer)  He doesn't like my wood shake roof or the pitch of it.  He doesn't like where the flower beds are.  He is often behind and reschedules.  The job seems to be good. I have it done every year and he always tells me how filthy the chimney is (maybe it is the wood stove?) as the wood is dry and I do not leave it smoldering at a low temp all day.  He always makes me feel like a negligent homeowner

Greg was prompt and professional. I have lived in this house for 3 years without having the chimney cleaned or inspected. It was way overdue and I learned how lucky I was to have had it cleaned when I did. I was operating in unsafe conditions and very likely would have had a chimney fire in the near future. I was lucky I had not had one yet. The chimney was cleaned and I am now confident in my ability to maintain it. Greg also took the time to review smoke detectors, carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguishers and options for the safety of my family, me and the house. Great job. I will schedule a yearly cleaning with Greg from here on out.

Great.  Greg came out the first time to do a cleaning and we discovered the pipe was not installed all the way through the chimney and he could not do the job.  He explained what was needed and why and quoted the job.  He did not charge us when he came that first time which I appreciated.  He came back and was prompt, cleaned up and did a good job.  He also went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and checked into a few other things for us as well.

Greg arrived exactly on time.  He answered all my questions and I asked a lot!  He was very friendly and did the work efficiently with out leaving a trace of dirt.  I would not have even known he had been here except that the chimney and fireplace were clean.  I recommend him highly.
