About us

Shaw Earthworks is a small construction company based in Gorham, ME. We have just completed our fifth year of business in 2010. The projects that we have completed range from driveway and septic repair, to City and State projects with contracts over 750K. We also own a pit on River Road in Windham, where we deliver sand, gravel, loam, erosion control mix, rip-rap, and landscape boulders among other things. Please call for any material deliveries or if you have any projects that you would like an estimate on.

After looking at several excavation contractors, I finally settled on Shaw as the best option. I had seen the work they did for a neighbor and was able to coincide their work with mine. I had staked out the area to be excavated, explained this to Brian, the owner and went to work. When I returned, they had performed the service exactly as I had asked and, in fact, it was better than I had expected. Everything was even where it needed to be, and the different levels were spaced perfectly and expertly. I have more excavation needs in the future and will definitely work with these guys again.
