Hurricane Irene hit on the weekend, and dozens of other flooded, damaged and water damaged buildings needed attention emergently. Because of this, I had one day when only one worker came, but overall I felt my needs received adequate attention. The work was finished on the day projected before the storm. All of the workers were pleasant and easy to talk to. When some military gear appeared, a couple of the guys asked about it, and it turned out their parents or they had military experience. The days were unfortunately unusually hot and humid, but this did not appear to slow the work at all (the nurse in me made sure everybody was drinking plenty of water). The job was finished on the expected day (a total of 6 days). I didn't recognize my basement when they were finished. I had received a forecast that all I would find when they were finished would be a dead furnace, an oil tank, four walls, a ceiling and a floor, and that was what I found. And it smelled so much better! The final bill was as estimated. I have already told friend and family that I hope nothing like this ever happens, but if it does - call ServPro!
