Nelson's Remodeling

Nelson Mash is an unethical contractor who cannot be trusted. In May he provided me a quote to install siding, put on a metal roof, and to build a large covered deck on the front of my home as well as replace steps at my second entrance. In June I paid him over $18k to purchase materials for the job; he never purchased any materials. I contacted him multiple time about when he would start work after he cashed the check on 24 June. He finally came to my house on 4 September. He built a very small, uncovered porch on the front of my house with materials left over from work on his own home - in grey, although I had specifically requested brown. Again, not covered and about half of the size I had requested. He did nothing with the second set of steps. I have repeatedly asked for an itemized materials list and for work done. He has repeatedly ignored my requests. I have asked for a refund of my money. Again, he has simply ignored me. He took over $18,000 and did, at most (again, he will not give me a list of materials, any receipts, or even a statement of hours worked) $3,000 worth of work. Do not trust this man. Do not work with him!!
