Simon is a trustworthy professional. He has serviced our chimney since even before we purchased the home. He does a thorough cleaning and inspection. This time his camera found significant damage to the concrete liner for which he suggested a replacing with an updated alumninum liner which will allow for better performance overall. He reviewed the damage and options with us and the day of the replacement he was ontime and efficient. The cost of service includes both appointments.

Simon was very responsive with providing a cost estimate and details on what needed to be fixed after coming over to assess my chimney. The chimney looks great now!

We had some leaks in the house coming from the vents and the chimney. Simon did an excellent job rebuilding. Looks great and most importantly took care of the leaks. Simon was prompt, personable and courteous. Would definitely recommend him.

We called at the busy point in the season - most vendors in the area were booked solid until December.  Simon called with a last minute opening, which worked well for me as I work from home.  He showed up promptly and performed the job efficiently.  I would definitely use him again for next year's cleaning as well as any other work we needed - he was honest and professional.

Did a great job, very happy with the responsiveness, suggestions, and work performed, as well as the speed that the job was completed in, especially during a very cold period of the year.

I am very impressed with the service I received.  Simon cleaned my woodstove and pipe, which I wasn't expecting so that was a pleasant surprise.  He arrived at the exact time he said he would.  My house was left very clean around the areas that he was working (around the woodstove and clean out door in the basement).  He also inspected my chimney and made recommendations for taking care of the issues found.  I would definitely recommend him and use him again for future chimney service.

Overall, I am satisfied with the service.  He was professional, friendly and the job was completed very quickly.  

Worst service and chimney liner install We could imagine, short of burning the house down In our opinion

Simon came out on Weds morning and looked over what had to be done. He thoroughly explained what had to be done and got to work that afternoon. He successfully completed the work the next afternoon.

Everyhing went smoothly.  They arrived on time with all equipment and repair materials needed. We reviewed the before photos before work began.  It took less than two hours to complete the job. For followup they sent an e-mail with before and after photos.

From initial phone call to leaving the work area cleaner than they found it, Simon and Bob were professional and did an excellent job on a difficult project (2 other chimney sweeps never called me back after looking at my chimney problems). An improperly installed or maintained chimney can be a major hazard, do yourself a favor and let Simon do the job right. The bill was less than expected. Can't recommend enough.

They came to my home and cleaned the chimney from the roof.  They also went into my basement and opened the trap and tried to clean the bottom of the chimney.  He did not finish the job.  He left a note saying that he couldn't finish because there was water at the bottom of my chimney.

I emailed him back and forth a couple times discussing why he didn't finish the job. He said he'd come back and finish the job. He wanted my husband to install a chimney cap.  It's been a year and I haven't heard back.  He said because I was referred by someone he wanted to do right but....He hasn't been back

Simon was prompt, professional and thorough in inspecting/cleaning my wood stove components and chimney. I really appreciated the fact that he showed me various things that he found throughout the process and explained what they meant. In terms of the chimney, he pointed out the signs of wear and we talked about what needed to be done to address them before they got significantly worse. Simon suggested that I purchase a wood stove thermometer and also recommended a product to help decrease creosote build-up. Very knowledgable and cleaned up nicely. Competitive pricing.

Excellent , professional service. This was an add-on repair job to the original chimney cleaning ($140 a month earlier). Simon provided photos showing the need for repair and again showing the finished work. 
Clean and quick. Knows his stuff. And offered/added the gasket and roof tile repairs while he was up there at very little extra cost. He even obtained matching roof tiles.
