I love the Gorham Savings Bank. Whenever I write them an e-mail I write on the bottom, By the way, I love your Bank. The problem was that I had received a letter in the mail saying that a transfer hadn't succeeded. I found out that it was going to succeed. There was a delay because it was a special kind of transaction. The Bank is very responsive and very friendly. They have good checking and savings plans. They are a local Bank, not a big one. My sister lives in Sweden and Bank of America couldn't wire her money. My Bank had no problem. They provide a fabulous service. They refund your ATM fees charged by other banks. One time I wasn't paying attention and the ATM ate my card. I was leaving for China that day. The Bank was able to issue me a new card immediately so I could take it with me. That was awesome!

I've been with them for over 15 years. I've done mortgages, checking, and saving accounts with them. They're a tremendous bank.
