Very good. Our lawn looks much better than it has in years/

Mr. Egbert came out and reviewed our lawn and provided us a very competitive quote. We signed our quote and he was here the following week to begin the process. He placed weed control specific to the clovers and will follow up on the next visit with weed control for crab grass. He also provided fertilizer and will continue the process throughout the summer. It is a 5 days later and the majority of the clovers are dying off. We are thrilled with their service.

I I got didn't meet them personally but I got a written quote which was timely.

See above on weed killer application. Fertilizer seemed to take; the lawn looked good up until it got very cold out. As for the overseeding, we'll have to wait until spring to see what comes up. One concern I have is that the seed was sprinkled before all the autumn leaves were down, so when I raked them up, I don't know if I displaced the seed.
On another note, every time we've called to get information and have talked with Mrs. Egbert, she has been a delight -- very knowledgeable and pleasant. And when Mr. Egbert came to the house to first analyze the lawn, he actually got down on his knees and dug up grass and removed soil to examine its characteristics before suggesting treatment. I've never seen anyone else do that, and I've had various lawncare providers previously. This is literally a Mom and Pop operation here in Maine, and they are solid folks.

It was good. We're still using them.

They are very good, and more responsive. They are definitely cheaper, and guarantee their services.
