I have absolutely no complaints about AWQ. They have been extremely helpful in handling my families water teatments needs! They are honest, knowledgable, and willing to go the extra mile to help out!

AWQ are real pros. The radon system that had been installed by Aqua-max for the previous owner was described as very poor by the pre-purchase inspector. I called in AWQ to consult. They told me that I did not need a radon reduction system for air and that I could live with the radon water system if I didn't want the expense of replacing it. They provided an estimate for the arsenic system and installed it on time. They have been wonderfully responsive when I had questions, including helping me with things that turned out to have nothing to do with the arsenic system (failure of the well pump, for instance).
I wouldn't use anyone else. Above all, STAY AWAY FROM AQUA-MAX!!!

Awesome, start to finish. We moved into our new house at the beginning of August, and before we moved we knew we needed the water treatment system. Air and Water Quality was able to give us an accurate estimate and went out to the new house to make sure they had the info needed to install the system as soon as we owned the house. I had numerous contacts with their office and always had very prompt, professional, and helpful responses to emails. I even had a question completely unrelated to paid work they were performing, and they answered it happily and thoroughly. On the first day of installation they realized that one water line ran separately to two of our bathrooms, and that they would need to do additional work to connect it to the system. They did this with no further charge, even though it was several more hours of work. The salesman I spoke to said " You paid for a whole house system, and we are going to make sure you have a whole house system." A top notch company., and I would recommend them to anyone.

We had rather expensive water and air radon mitigation systems installed by this company in 2007, which we have been very satisfied with. We had them out to do the annual maintenance the first year after it was installed, and after getting the bill, my husband decided to change the filters himself after that, having observed the entire (rather straightforward) procedure.
We recently noticed that the fan on the radon air had stopped working, and were told it needed to be replaced (they are warrantied only five years by the manufacturer). An appointment was scheduled for the following week, and the technician arrived almost an hour after the scheduled appointment time of 8:00. My husband missed work in order to be here when the guy showed up. When he arrived, he installed the fan, and we were charged $367, $125 for 30 minutes labor and $242 for the fan itself (which retails for $140 - I would imagine they didn't pay that much for it, given that they probably buy loads of them). That's a 70%+ mark up on parts.
Very disappointed with the inflated labor charges, especially since we're only 35 minutes from their location. Even including drive time to and from our house, it still comes out to over $150/hour. We should have learned our lesson with the first over-inflated service call; we certainly do not intend to call them again to service the system in the future.
