First couple of visits went well, then downhill.  Not sure my floors have ever been washed by these folks (only used a few months to give a chance!) and I've had to complain about very obvious cobwebs and dirt in corners.  It's a very cursory job and not worth it for what I paid.

Initially my experience with this service was great.  We used them on a weekly basis after I had my baby and the individual who cleaned did an excellent job.  Jana, the owner, was fantastic to work with but then all of a sudden her cleaner stopped coming and she failed to return my phone calls or ever provide an explanation as to what happened.  I was very disappointed and felt we should have at least been notified they were closing if that was the case.  When I called around for new rates with other services I was told lots of people had called with the same story as my own.  It was unfortunate that such a seemingly good company completely dropped the ball. 

The owner, Janna, is very easy to work with - responsive, friendly. The workers have all been great too. No complaints.

We engaged Mrs. McGuire's for about 30 months to clean our large house, including picking up after the children, washing, and putting away the children's clothes. At first they were great, then there were more and more frequent problems.  They seem to have trouble keeping staff. Most of the cleaners were very good, the companies approach is generally useful (alternating two primary cleaners so they know us and the house and our needs so we would have continuity if one or the other left for vacation or terminated employment). The owner was very responsive. We are "needy" in terms of both house size and general bedlam / mess. They coped well with us and accommodated our desire for non-toxic as well as scent-free cleaning products.We eventually dropped the laundry piece but we grew frustrated with some reliability issues and dropped the service.

I'm not as crazy about them as I was at first. I find that they do a good job, I've got to talk to the owner about a few things. Overall, they are okay, I'd probably give them a C+ or B. I think its a little that I'm paying for what I'm getting. The things that's difficult in this situation is there is usually two people that come and they aren't always the same people and some are better than others. Some are quite professional, and some are lacking somewhat.

It went very well, overall. I received an rough estimate by email at first, then she came to my home and provided a firm estimate based on my specific requests. She tailors her business to be "a la carte." The first time Mrs. McGuire's service came, the owner came with an assistant and they both worked for about 3 hours for $80 total, which was an extremely good value. The second time they came, the assistant came on her own and knew exactly what to do. I paid $70 for 3 hours of her time and will likely continue on a twice a month or monthly basis, just to feel caught up. She uses environmentally friendly products and is quite willing to adapt to the customer's needs. Very pleasant demeanor and easy to reach either by phone or email.
