I worked with Scott to get a quote and full fulfillment of work on my house this fall. He was prompt and direct in his replies and sat down to walk me through all the available options for window replacements. He recommended the paradigm brand and I appreciated the support for a local company. The final quote was professionally rendered and very clear about costs upfront. It also ended up coming in lower than another comparator company. We scheduled the work, it was done on time and I was called midway through the job to be alerted to a few minor changes in the plan after they recognized some areas of rot that were not noticeable until the front door was removed. It was a quick repair and they were done within the day. Would gladly recommend to others.

It went very well, all services and costs were as described. I had interactions with 3 people from Eastern Shore and all were very pleasant and helpful not to mention they were conscientious of their workmanship.

We contacted several contractors to get estimates on having vinyl siding installed on our house. Scott from Eastern Shore was the most professional, and the only one who followed up with us after giving us the estimate to see if we had questions. Choosing Eastern Shore over the others was an easy decision.
My husband works in retail and was home during much of the time when the work was being done. Joe, who actually did the installation, spoke with him often, and whenever a question came up, Joe contacted Scott, who responded promptly.
This job improved the appearance of our home 100% and we are very pleased with the quality of the work. We would not hesitate to recommend Eastern Shore Home Improvement to anyone.

We're very pleased with the work. Paul and Joe, the two guys who actually performed the work, did a nice job. Paul worked inside, and Joe stayed outside. We have a dog who doesn't like strangers around, and Paul was very patient with her as she barked and got used to him.
Paul re-trimmed a number of windows and the work was well done. He did all of the replacement windows himself in about a half day. Joe did all of the siding work, and while the hammering on the house got a little annoying, the work looks very good. They did have to buy some new siding, so the color doesn't quite match due to the existing siding being sun-bleached. That will resolve itself and is certainly no fault of ESHI.
The weather didn't cooperate, so I think the work took a day longer than it could have if they hadn't had to deal with snow and freezing rain. We did get pretty lucky that two of the three days where there was a hole in the house for more than a few minutes while the new construction windows and door were installed were fairly warm. Paul did pretty well keeping the cold out while fitting the new windows.
The start date was very short notice. Scott called me Wednesday, January 18 to say a job had been cancelled for the next morning and that he could start then if it worked for us. I work from home, so this was fine with me. The only drawback was that Scott hadn't gotten me some of the molding that I needed to paint. This meant that I had to spend Thursday night painting trim instead of my original plans, but other than that, everything went off very well.
We are very pleased with the work and will definitely call Scott again for a quote when we have more work to do on our house.
