SMALL ANIMAL CLINIC

The service was good. The only thing is they have a problem keeping water for the dogs. They had one dog that kept spilling the water bowl and it seems like the dogs are always short of water because of that. They recognized the problem and tried to work on that but I guess they have one crazy dog there that kept spilling the water bowl every time they fill it. That’s the only thing that we had to complain about. We’d use them again.

They took great care of Major, quickly getting him in to be examined. He did require a 3 day 'hospital' stay where the staff took great care of my dog, allowing me to visit him daily. When released from the hospital they asked for continued updates. When Major was unable to keep his medicine and food down they were very happy to give suggestions. Major's follow-up appointments were in the Columbia office, where the staff was as equally supportive and accommodating as it was difficult for Major to walk. With great care and dedication from the staff of Small Animal Clinic Major is now up on all fours and walking for the most part unassisted.

Small animal clinic is great, the price is totally right, but after the procedure I noticed that they had cut the entire way up my pups package. Maybe this was but it was jagged and looked horrid. You can still see it. I also asked them for his rabies tag and papers as he had that done too, but I never got them. The people are professional, they all seem to care about the animals but I need more than that. I also took my Great Dane there for her shots and the vet refused to clip her nails or clean her ears unless I let them put her under because he was afraid of her. I understand she was big and yes she growled because she was scared and she knew he was, but they could have used a muzzle?

I have had good experiences with them. Their prices are pretty comparable with other veterinarians.
