Jaiden Landscaping

Instead of field stones, Jaiden Landscaping used broken granite fragments and stacked them in a heap which fell over within two years. I was duped by Jaiden and will never recommend them for any purpose. Jon's work is very poor. Avoid this contractor.

They were delayed because of rain. That is totally understandable.
The quality of work performed was very good, but the service after the sale was poor.
Jon, the owner, was very responsive up until the end of the project and all money paid.
The driveway and walkway came with a 5 year warranty for heaving.
The second year we called Jaiden Landscaping several times in an effort to have them come back to correct/repair a few pavers that heaved. They finally responded.
This year (we still have one more year remaining on the warranty), In early April, I started calling and e-mailing several times about pavers that had separated. All I wanted was to have them come back to put in more sand and re-set if needed. I spoke with Angela, the office person, at least 3-4 times. She assured me Jon would be in touch. At one point she also told me someone stopped by when I wasn't at home. They didn't see anything wrong. Why they didn't come when I was at home is beyond me. Well, finally I reached Jon on his cell. He promised he would stop by. It's now August. I've yet to see or hear from him.
Out of frustration, I sent him another e-mail a few weeks ago. This time, I included pictures of what needed to be addressed. Still no response.
Customer service after the sale, in my opinion, is non-existent with this company. He appears to be more concerned with making a sale then servicing after to be sure a customer's investment holds up. Jaiden will get no repeat business from us or recommendations to friends, etc.
I rated Jaiden a and quot;Dand quot; for professionalism because of the poor responsive and customer service.
We had a new patio with walkway installed this summer by another company.

We did think work would start by end of September but nothing happened for over a month. Jaiden had been delayed by weather and by several other projects that were keeping his crew behind schedule. Several back and forth emails promised me that they would soon be here to start our project, but that never happened. I finally called the office and Jon called me back immediately. It was at that point that he described the cause of the delays and said he would have someone from his crew over right away. We had someone to our property that afternoon. I was fine with understanding about the delays, but my frustrations could have been defused had there been more communication from Jon directly. The crew started mid-week before Thanksgiving, and was finished sometime the week following (the project was done during the week we were away). They really did a very nice job on the project and we are very happy with the completed work. They sent a good crew and the crew leader, Jen, was very competent and knew what she was doing. She has been with Jaiden for 10 years. We don't know if Jon ever came by the project - we never saw him. It just would have been nice if he had taken the time to check in with us about the project, both along the way and after project completion. Still, I would employ Jaiden again as I feel he gave us a fair price and did a very good job. All debris was removed from the yard and all looks very good.
