B Washburn Electric

An ongoing problem developed with the generator, however, and we made  multiple calls to Mr. Washburn over a period of 18 months or so to try to determine just what the problem was.  He finally came to take a look at the situation, did some tests, felt that the problem had been resolved, and told us it should be okay.  Subsequently, however, the same problem occurred again.  Several months and many calls later, Mr. Washburn again assessed the situation and referred us to a company that specializes in generators. We appreciated his doing that, but we had, meanwhile, been living with a malfunctioning generator for quite some time, in an area that has frequent electrical outages. 

We had also asked Mr. Washburn to help us determine whether one section of our house needed to be rewired, which he agreed
to do last year, but he hasn't had time to do yet.  We certainly would have him do this if we could get a definite time commitment from him; otherwise, we'd have to consider trying to find someone else to do the work.
We originally contacted Mr. Washburn because he had been highly recommended by people whose opinion we trust. It's obvious that he's one of the best, if not the best, electricians in the area, and, as such, we think he is overwhelmed with work.  We greatly appreciated his helping us when he had the time. However, although this is not our year-round residence, we spend a fair amount of time there, and it's very important for us to have the electrical appliances and service in good shape when we're there.  In addition, we keep the house open and heated during the winter, relying on the generator to keep everything from freezing, should the electricity go off.

Great! Brent was punctual, very honest, affordable and cleaned up after the job was done. He and his helper (Seth) were very diligent in preforming the job right. His prices were good and he is very pleasant to work with. I would use him again anytime I needed electrical help.
