Denis P. McCarthy Carpentry is a small family owned business in the beautiful coastal town of York, Maine. Denis is just as much an artist as he is a craftsman. He can do it all, from building one-of-a-kind furniture pieces to replacing windows. He has worked on large projects such as managing the building of the Hampton Inn in Wells, Maine and rebuilding the Atlantic House in York Beach. He puts his whole self into each project, and his passion is in the details. The majority of his projects revolve around home repair, finish carpentry, and custom furniture and cabinitry. He installed a pocket door into the laundry closet, installed wainscoting, installed a laundry sink.
Created the perfect space in the bathroom for a vanity piece that we had from a previous and quot;findand quot; and made everything
work together.
He also acted as the general contractor for the job for the plumber, electrician, and tile guy.
Dennis always arrives when he says he is going to, and is always professional. The job sometimes takes longer than he anticipates because he is such a perfectionist. He is a carpenter by trade and does outstanding detail work.
