From the initial contact for an estimate and all the way through the completion of the project, Mike and his excellent crew kept me informed of the progress, alerted me if there were going to be delays(weather related) and offered solutions to unexpected issues that arose and promptly corrected them. Very professional and courteous throughout the project. Impressed with the quality of the work done and also how clean they left the worksite. Disposed of the waste generated promptly after the work was completed I would not hesitate to hire Willard Square Home Repair for future repairs needed around my home. It was a pleasure doing business with this company.

I cannot say enough good things about this group! It started with the most comprehensive and detailed estimate that led me to choose them. They were extremely flexible with all of the delays (caused by Home Depot, but that's another story) and did an incredible job!! Every day they left my house in better, cleaner condition than when I left it in the morning! They also replaced the bathroom light/fan, which required climbing into the attic crawl space that hadn't seen daylight in 20+ years, replaced the sink fixtures and installed a rain shower head. They even replaced floor tiles that had been damaged, and you'd never know it. They repaired and painted the ceiling downstairs that had been damaged by the leaking shower. Every evening, they sent me an email confirming who would be coming the next day and at what time. If you have an opportunity to work with Ryan, he is the BEST!!! I will be contacting Willard Square for ALL my home repair needs. You can't ask for better service.

It went well. Mike and crew were on time and quick to respond to the inquiry. The handled the estimate, and did exactly what they said they would - came within $25 of original estimate.

It went poorly.
On September 11 I submitted an online inquiry to Willard Square Home Repair to have some crown molding, window trim and baseboard put up in our dining room. The project also included replacing some hardwood flooring. In my inquiry I described the job and gave my location (15 miles from Willard Square). On September 14 a company representative contacted me and asked for more information including measurements, room details, etc. which I provided. Subsequently a visit from her supervisor was scheduled for September 22. He was to come out and review the scope of work on site and provide an estimate. A date of September 28 was scheduled for the work to start. Being anxious to get this work done I rearranged some other plans to accommodate these appointments. Then on September 17 I received an email from my initial contact with the company advising me that my location was outside of their service area and wishing me "best of luck on your project". In my opinion - extremely unprofessional. Instead of telling me at first inquiry that my location was outside their service area, they wasted my valuable time and caused me to rearrange other plans to accommodate their appointments.
It's retrospect it is fortunate that I didn't start to do business with this company. The most important qualities I look for in a home services company is dependability and professionalism. Willard Square Home Repair does not measure up on either score.

We are thrilled to have found Willard Square Home Repair to support a variety of ongoing repair/improvement needs of our new SoPo vacation rental property. Othe past two months, we have hired the WSHR team for several projects. Whether we are on-site or away, WSHR has proven to be reliable, honest, responsive and flexible--all traits on which we place a high value as property owners and managers. In addition, they are organized and professional; their pricing is reasonable; the quality of their work is very good; and when a job isn't their bailiwick, they refer us to a colleague with complementary skills who is also a great resource. That said, as an out-of-town owner/manager, we've asked WSHR to do tasks that might seem menial, but are critical to the success of our business. Though such tasks are not their core business, if they have the equipment and skills for the job, WSHR generally finds a way to support us, make us a priority, and always with fair pricing. With this in mind, we call WSHR first for all of our home repair/improvement projects big/small, because we know that we can depend on Jenn, Mike and the team to take care of our home as if it were their own. Last but not least, it is worth noting that every WSHR team member we've worked with has been considerate, positive, hard-working, knowledgeable, and pleasant.
