Garden Guys Landscaping is a locally owned company based along the Maine coast and led by Jack Vose, a Civil and Environmental Engineering graduate from the University of Maine. We work throughout Cape Elizabeth, South Portland, Portland, and Scarborough, providing lawn care, seasonal cleanups, planting, and landscape design. Our team also specializes in hardscape installation, including patios and walkways, and offers dependable snow services during the winter months. With a focus on sustainability, we use regionally suited plants and thoughtful design to create outdoor spaces that look great and support the local environment. Garden Guys is a great company. They have mowed my lawn for a number of years and always do a very nice job. Justin has been the one who mowed my lawn for the last two years which has been very nice. I have asked him to do a few small things around the yard and he always remembers. We are in the planning stages for some new plantings in my front yard. Jack has come over and put a plan together as I currently have almost no curb appeal. We are going to install some trees in my front lawn, shrubs and flowers along my house and a new front walkway. We are going with a nice grey paver to contrast the colors of my siding which was Jack's idea. We are finalizing the planting choices and I cant have to have flowers all season long! Cant recommend enough

Lawn Care - Aerate a Lawn

I highly recommend Garden Guys Landscaping. I worked with them for the first time this winter for snow removal and appreciated Jack?s prompt service and communication. This fall they dethatched my lawn in early September. The following week, they did the core aeration and overseeding for my lawn. I am very excited to see the full results of that next spring since the little grass sprouts started coming up really nicely. The crew that came to do the work was really nice, I believe their names were Jackson and Max. I told them that if they ever come back, I will definitely make them cookies. My lawn has always been decent but never great and I think this is a good next step. I think I may even have them aerate again in spring as I am bound and determined to have a good looking lawn. Fingers crossed.

Garden Guys are a great group. They are well run and we love all of their regular updates/communication. They are very thorough and make sure we stay in tune with what is happening. We have gotten to know many of the crew including Alec and Justin which has been really nice. I am very excited for garden installation project next summer. They came up with a great design that is focused on native and pollinator friendly plantings. We are so excited!

I started using Garden Guys when I noticed that they did 4 or 5 of my direct neighbors. They are efficient, have good prices and have a very nice crew. We get to see the same guys each week do our mowing which is helpful so they know how we like it done. I try to have cold waters ready for them when they come through since it can be so hot in the summer months.

Garden guys did an amazing job on my law, their fertilizing process improved my law tremendously. When my lawn needed to be mowed they would be there and cut it at correct height. I have never had bad service and will continue to hire them for more work.
