Description of Work: Bob has cleaned and done minor repairs on our system 2000 oil furnace, hot water tank, and thermostats for years. The last call we made was on a weekend when our heat inexplicably turned on, and he walked us through how to fix it in just a few minutes over the phone. He somehow manages to triage important cases and yet is never late showing up for routine maintenance. In our view, he is the single best tradesman in any field in the Brunswick area.

Description of Work: Peggy did a great job on an older sink for me. There was some question whether it could be repaired because of it's age but she persevered and now it works better than it did before.

 + -1 moreVERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGABLE feel blessed to have met him. He came to our home assessed the situation and took charge and when he left our home we had heat and parts were ordered... game plan in place. Very attentive to detail in explaining our problem with our furnace. It was very helpful these days people are working for money not for the customer . THAT IS NOT THE CASE WITH ROBINSON HEATING AND COOLING .... customer first.(THIS WAS PRICELESS TO US !!!) we felt he was there for our family not just to make a buck....this kind of mentality these days is not very common.

Description of Work: Robinson installed central air conditioning in my 1100 square foot home. They completed the job in an afternoon. They gave advice as to how to use and care for the new system. I used the new a/c 24 hours a day for the entire summer. No problems were encountered. I recommend Robinson.

 + -1 moreThis is why I like owner-operators: Bob called right back, was here the same day, patched the electricity to the water heater so we'd have hot water while the furnace parts were on the way, made the installation and repairs while I was away, and everything works perfectly. And, he's cheerful, polite and personable! Price is good, considering. As for the System 2000, someone needs to make an aftermarket controller.The boiler is fine, but the controller is an example of overpriced and antiquated repair parts controlled by the manufacturer's distribution system. This is the kind of inefficiency the net is good at eliminating...
Description of Work: The exhaust ventilation system for our System 2000 oil furnace failed. Bob cleaned and repaired the furnace, and replaced the ventilation system with a modern ventilation system that feeds outside air to the furnace, instead of exhausting 450 cfm of already heated air. Oh yeah, the control circuit board failed too.

Description of Work: Installed central A/C system in my mobile home. Installed in less than a day-left work area clean! Very friendly service. New system seems to be economical. System for my 1100 sqft mobile was 2 tons. Very comfortable inside this summer.
