+ -1 morePeter Footer's work was outstanding, as always. Over the years, Peter has carried out many projects for me, including building additions to structures (an new bedroom and a new bathroom), renovating a kitchen, and building a new garage. All of his work is expert and precise. One of his specialties is cabinetmaking - any kind of built in cabinets or shelving will be outstanding. The level of care he brings to cabinets and shelving carries over to all his work, including larger projects. Peter will not be the the low bidder for a project. If you want something fast and cheap, other providers will be a better choice. But if you want superb quality (at a fair price), I highly recommend Peter. In addition to being an outstanding craftsman, Peter is 100 percent honest and professional - I have not found anyone more so in these respects. Peter is located in Brunswick and does most of his work in there and in nearby towns.
Description of Work: Peter Footer carried out renovations to my summer cottage that had experienced some rotting. He determine the extent of the problem and devised a creative solution that minimized the amount of work required. He removed the rotted wood areas and rebuilt the sections with new wood, a wood substitute called Azek that is impervious to water, and also metal flashing. The resulting reconstruction should prevent future rotting for many years to come.
