Hilltop Roofing

Justin and his Hilltop Roofing team were very easy to work with. They had competitive pricing and charged a clear, fair price for any add'l work. We had his team also remove an old brick chimney in the middle of the house. They did a thorough job, cleaned the site afterwards and clearly explained the work provided. Highly recommend working with Hilltop Roofing.

Working with them was very good. They were very nice and very helpful. I like that we had a lot more choices than other contractors as far as what we wanted and they are more understanding about stuff.

Called about eight contractors to obtain an estimate. Hilltop owner Justin Gibbons was the first to respond. Within two days, he drove over and personally evaluated the job and then provided an estimate within 48 hours. His price was very competitive with the others and included work that others did not (e.g., replacing mating trim board on porch, guards above/to protect vent stack,etc...). We were comparing costs of going with asphalt shingles, exposed fastener metal or standing seam metal. This was the only company to provide an estimate for all three and, with each came an ample amount of written information and handouts describing the product, warranty, colors, etc...

While a standing seam metal roof was the most expensive of all options, there was absolutely no pressure from him to go that route. The estimate for the exposed fastener style roof was the most appealling to us. There was only one estimate for that style roof that was less than Hilltop's, but it did not come with the same contractor warranty, product information or extra work described above. Hilltop also had the lowest rate for any unforeseen additional work that might be encountered. In fact, a repair to the roof deck was required after stripping, and we were not charged for it.

In addition, a very small cut was found in a custom window screen shortly after the job, and Justin was quick to repair the screen for us, going the extra mile by special ordering the screen material from the window manufacturer to assure a perfect match of mesh size and color.
