This was a challenging site. Scott and his crew did a great job!  All went very smoothly and his price was competitive.

Just a note (which you can show to your company owner) to express my appreciation for your efforts.
I got up last night to see how the irrigation/well system was working and the pump (new) and tank (new) and pressure gauge (new) all worked in harmony.
The pressure gauge stayed at about 58 pounds for the whole time I was in the utility room about ten minutes as the pump ran. There was no cycling as there was a good match of the demand (8 gallons per minute) from the sprinkler heads and the well pump.
All very nice.
I appreciate the time you took to "sell" me the added parts that accomplished this all new system replacing a 19 year old system that was working but near failure.

He was very professional and knowledgeable.  He and his crew were very careful about doing as little damage as possible in the area where they were working.  I'm happy I used their services and would highly recommend them.  They helped make a stressful situation easier.

Bert was terrific! He showed up promptly and was both pleasant and professional. He quickly diagnosed the cause of our low water flow (a clogged filter). He also replaced a corroded and loose well cap that was potentially allowing contamination of our well. More importantly he was an excellent teacher and answered the many questions I asked. Never having had a well before, I learned an enormous amount about how to care for the well. In particular, he was very helpful in explaining what I could do myself and very specific about how to do it (such as checking pressure tank, "shocking system", sizing sedimentation filters, proper technique for obtaining water samples for testing, etc.)

I will certainly use him again if I have problems that require a professional. I would also strongly recommend him to potential home buyers for a pre-purchase well inspection, both for making sure the well is functioning properly and for educating the potential buyer how to maintain the well.

Temple put in my well when my house was built, and about 5 years later I had my water tested. There was bacteria in it so I called Temple. They told me that as the ground shifts, rocks can move and water may be coming in closer to the ground that could be contaminated. It turned out it was, so they put a sleeve inside the well. Then I was supposed to run bleach through the system to kill the bacteria, then recheck the water. The process required checking every tap in the house. They said they could do it, but I didn't really want to pay them to, so they put the bleach in for free and gave me instructions for doing the rest. It worked, and the water tested fine after that.

After a new pump got stuck in my old well, my plumber called in Bob and Hollis Temple who came to the rescue.  They did a fine job of drilling, cleaned up after themselves and charged a reasonable fee.  In checking the water tank, Bob found it had been installed poorly and insisted on fixing it.  He did not charge extra for doing so. He and his son worked hard, were courteous and sympathetic.

I was thrilled Bert was able to get my water back as quickly as he could. I didn't get an estimate because I had an emergency situation and the extent of my problem was not known until the system was taken apart. It seemed like a good deal of money to pay, but I've really had no experience with wells or pumps before and am not familiar with the going rates. My home was built in 1982 and I've owned it for 4 years. I have no idea when anything was last done to the well or pump. Bert was very willing to explain things and I really appreciated that because I was clueless! He told me there was no way to put a filter on a jet pump to perhaps avoid getting iron into the system. Bert also suggested I have someone come out within the next 5 years to take the new pump apart and clean out any iron which might have built up. I was especially pleased that Bert closed up the cellar and garage and re-hid my garage door opener because I come home late at night by myself.
