I called while on the highway - my car was "hiccuping" - like a misfire. Rick told me to bring it in and they would look at it. Diagnosis revealed cracked coil and burnt spark plugs. They were able to repair and get the car back to me late in the afternoon. This shop has never let me down. I have been going to this garage for almost 6 years and I appreciate the work. There is no pressure to upgrade - just matter of fact explanations like "this is what we found - here is what you can do" - all decisions are left up to the owner. I respect that type of service !!!

When I took the starter into them on the previous thursday they looked at it said no problem with what needed to be done. Then asked me when I wanted the work done. I said how about the next Tuesday again no problem. The counter guy took the old starter and inspected it tested it and said nothing about ordering parts. Then on Tuesday he calls me at 6:00 pm and say that he has ordered the parts and they would be in, in a day or two. Well this didn't set to well with me. Why had they not ordered the parts when they had the starter on Thursday before or at least told me they needed to order parts. Very poor communication. Then when I said; I needed the vehicle back as soon as possible the owner called me and said I had a bad attitude bad morals and what ever.
Did I mention I was a returning customer. Their customer service is the worst or rather typical of what I have found in Maine. Don't use these guys go somewhere else. In closing I went to the local NAPA store and they had much the same comments and experience with these guys.

Twin City was able to repair the dashboard light switch and get the vehicle back to me when promised and at the cost estimated. I was very pleased with the cost for labor ($75 an hour for labor is excellent)  and the part ($35). I have built a lot of trust around this service repair shop and am very pleased with their honesty.
