Two of their tech support people came to investigate the connectivity issues with their hardware (radio transmission receiver, router/gateway) which they replaced with brand new equipment after a 2hr process of troubleshooting... they said they would return soon to install a longer antenna and/or new dish receiver, but they have yet to return... Additionally, there was NO TROUBLE TICKET recorded as a result of that home visit. When we call their tech support line, ONLY available M-F 8a - 5p, Sat 9a - 12p, Th 6p - 9p, we have to talk with "Cal", a man who needs to learn that the CUSTOMER is ALWAYS RIGHT ~ He has DENIED that the internet disappears during the hours that we lose it stating that they have received no complaints from other residences using the service. He tries to use logic to disagree with the customer all but stating that we are lying about the lack of service ... Cal is a POOR customer service representative with MINIMAL computer expertise, as evidenced by his inability to troubleshoot the problem effectively with the customer ~ instead, his attempt to troubleshoot the problem usually ends up in an argument about whose problem it is to fix... Midcoast Internet Solutions would be smart to fire Cal for a high school student who has a better understanding of technology than Cal appears to have ...
