I cannot more strongly recommend Kurt if you need driveway work. He is incredibly knowledgable, let alone fastidious in his workmanship. Our entire experience with KP Paving has been one of extreme pleasure. Kurt recommended a slightly wider footprint for the driveway that has greatly improved both the esthetics of the drive as well as its usability for backing out of the garage. Months after the job was completed, Kurt came back to give me some advice about an accidental gasoline-damaged spot. In the conversation, he made some recommendations that I had not thought about and he will be coming back to patch the hole with the proper material. The attached photo is recent and in no way describes the state of the work after first completed!

KP Asphalt responded quickly to our request for an estimate and was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process of deciding exactly what we needed.  Kurt talked me out of more expensive options that would not have provided what I wanted.  From that point, they moved quickly, gave me a timeline and stuck to the timeline.  He kept me informed with anything that he thought I should know as the process continued.  I always felt that I was dealing with a professional who knew what he was doing and who was willing to listen to my concerns.  The driveway looks great and his suggestions made it a better fit for what we wanted.

Kurt and his team were great. Started exactly when they said they would. We were delayed about 2 weeks due to rain however, once the weather cleared Kurt and his team showed up when promised and completed the work within one day. Our driveway looks great.

We had our driveway done by KP Asphalt and they did a terrible job. When I complained, I was told I was and quot;too pickyand quot; and that this was a and quot;Patch Joband quot; (700+ sq ft) I requested 3/8 stone finish coat, and they put down 1/2 in base coat. They didn't roll it out properly so we have seams everywhere and high and low spots that collect water every time it rains. We didn't even walk on it for 15 days and the first night we parked on it, we had four depressions, one from each tire pressed into the new blacktop. (all three vehicles). Each time we park a car, new depressions appear. Also going from the city apron to the new blacktop is like going over a speed bump ! They did a horrible job meeting the old with the new. They also blacktopped right over a windowsill on a window we have on the driveway side of the basement. They were in and out of here in record time. I had the owner come back and look and he made every excuse he could to justify his terrible work. He then screamed a few obscenities and drove off. NEVER hire these people. KP ASPHALT in Biddeford. Please pass this along to everyone you know !
