We had a badly deteriorating deck at a rental property that needed replacement urgently. We contacted a couple of contractors for quotes and time frames. We felt that we needed to get the deck replaced ASAP, but were of course also interested in quality work and the bottom line. Dan was super easy to talk to; he gave us a list of job sites in our area to check out, and other references. Dan came out to the site, and was able to turn around a quote quickly. This quote was lower than the two others, and Dan said he could get the job done sooner. Within a couple of business days we had a contract for less than the original quote. We got lucky with the timing, since it was considered a smaller job we were able to be scheduled ASAP. Dan s crew arrived by 9 AM on day one and the job was complete by 4 PM on day two. I think it's interesting to note that the local code enforcement officer happened to stop by, and everything was totally up to code (unlike the deck that was removed!) The total bill was slightly under contract, and the timing and duration were spot on to what Dan said he could do, which totally exceeded our expectations going into this.
