Island Painting

It took a little longer than expected. The paint peeled off the following summer. He came back and said it's because of the rough winter. He did a terrible patch job. I called him back and said it's peeling everywhere. He has refused to fix the problem. He will not reply to my phone calls or certified letters. I am taking him to court. Do not hire this guy.

Tony did a wonderful job, as usual. He not only painted the areas requested but also dealt with bleeding and staining in other parts of the house. He cleaned up the area around the skylights on the porch making it look like new.

We cannot give enough praise to Island Painting. Their workmanship was professional, and completed on time, and at the a greed upon price.

I don't remember how much they had quoted for the job. They were responsive and we will likely use them. They came out and made some good suggestions.

After having had a couple of bad experiences with other painting contractors over the years I was a real skeptic when it came to hiring painters and whether or not they would do a good job. I will admit to being a bit picky and to being a detail person. However, after first meeting Tony (principal of Island Painting) I had a very good feeling that he was different from the others and that he would deliver on his promises. I was not disappointed in our initial assessment. Suffice it to say that it was the best experience in hiring anyone to do any work on our homes over the last 30 years. He very much takes a great deal of pride in his work and in trying to satisfy the customer. Tony is very much a professional painter, a very good person and a perfectionist to boot. He is also an excellent communicator (rare in the trades) and would call me to provide updates, and to determine if I was satisfied with what had been done to date. He went above and beyond what I expected and I could not be happier with his work.

Excellent job. Very thorough although weather did cause the job to be postponed by a season.
